This huipil is from Las Sanjuaneras collective in the mountains of Oaxaca. Woven by Camerina.
100% naturally dyed using indigo in the main body, natural cotton and nanche. Woven on a backstrap loom each piece takes over a month to make.
The weave on these is finer and more like a light-medium gauze, making it perfect for scorcher days. Depending on the light may be slightly sheer.
These are very fine pieces and different in the style that most huipiles are woven in. Enjoy!
